{Padded Camera Pouch} by Michelle Patterns

So, now that you have a little background on the Padded Camera Pouch* (affiliate link) let's take a closer look at it, shall we!
The Padded Camera Pouch by Michelle Patterns comes in 4 different sizes [w x h x d]:
This is one thing that I find unique about Michelle's patterns. I really love that most of them come in a range of sizes because not only is it fun to make little coordinating pouches in a variety of sizes, but it really adds to the versatility of the pattern. It takes the guess-work out of trying to make the pattern a little larger to suit your needs.
With that being said, as I was preparing the pattern, I measured my camera and according to the dimensions, it was not going to fit in the x-large pouch...so sad. I did add a little to the height of the pattern, as well as a little to the length so that I could add a bit more depth to it to fit my camera. What did I learn from this??? Apparently my camera would have fit just fine in the x-large pouch...hahaha. It turned out a bit larger that I thought that it would, but I still love it! I now have room for my extra lens and maybe even my speedlight.
Included in the pattern, Michelle gives some great tips for creating a beautiful quality piece that will be sure to last for years to come!
