{Sew 20- Desert Island Sew} Tour
"Just pretend that you will be spending a few weeks alone on a desert island. You will only be allowed ONE sewing pattern but no limits on project supplies. What pattern would you take?"
Surprisingly, I found this months prompt from Sew 20 Society to be a fairly easy one to come to a decision for. I knew immediately what pattern that I would take, and then my mind took off RUNNING thinking of all the ways that I could hack this pattern for a lifetime of sews!!! If I had to choose only ONE pattern to take to a deserted island, it would have to be the Laundry Day Tee from Love Notions.
The Laundry Day Tee is super versatile as is, but if you start thinking about ways to hack it to make it MORE versatile, the possibilities are truly endless. The pattern already comes in a huge range of sizes, but it also comes with a variety of options that already included so that there is less guesswork:
So, those are options that are already included in the pattern, but if you think about all of the things that you can potentially do to change the pattern to fit a need, there are SO MANY possibilities! Here are just a few that I came up with while brainstorming. I am starting to think that I need to take this list and execute a few just to prove how easy it is!
What hack would YOU make to the LDT?!?
